Requirements
We are currently looking for Editors to join our Content Team. Â
Polis Analysis Editors:Â
As a editor at Polis Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, clarity, and accuracy of our daily publications. These publications include: (1) the free-of-charge, regionally focused Daily Briefing; (2) the subscription-based Intelligence Briefing, covering topics such as UK Politics, Technology & Misinformation, Climate Change & Instability, Young People, and China; (3) long-form and in-depth reports; and (4) research on disinformation through the Fake News Observatory (FNO). You will be responsible for maintaining editorial quality and upholding the organisation’s impartial voice throughout these four products.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing and editing analytical content from analysts for grammar, style, and factual accuracy
Ensuring all published content adheres to Polis Analysis’ editorial guidelines and impartial tone
Collaborate with other editors and analysts to improve on content and manage daily publishing schedules
Work with editorial team to deliver training to new Analysts and Editors
What are we looking for?
A strong interest in political analysis, international affairs, and/or dis- and misinformation
Experience working to tight deadlines
Strong editing and proof reading skills with excellent written English and attention to detail
Team player with the ability to communicate well and give constructive feedback
